What makes you an eligible applicant?

  • You must have an undergraduate degree in the same field as your post-graduation or in Business, Economics, Financial theory etc. Your undergraduate degree must be from an accredited university.
  • To qualify you must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • You will need to submit test scores for GMAT & GRE. Top schools in Canada have competitive scores starting at 600+.
  • You will also need to provide proof of English Proficiency if you are a Non-English Native speaker. You can take any of the tests offered such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE.

* IELTS Academic Test is the most widely used English proficiency test and the same is recommended by the Government and Student Direct Stream (a faster processing stream that is available to students from 7 countries. Eg. India).

What are the admission requirements? 

  • International students will need to submit official transcripts and verified copies of all previous qualifications. If your transcripts are in a language other than English/French, you will need to provide a translation for the same.
  • You will need to submit a professional resume or CV which should explain in detail your past work and academic history.
  • Most Finance related programs require a minimum of 2 years of work experience. Some colleges could require less or more depending on their requirements.
  • You will need to submit a statement of purpose or personal statement. In this document, you can explain your academic history and achievements, work history and achievements, etc. You can also use this document to explain any gap periods that you may have taken during your college or post your graduation.
  • Lastly, you will need to provide a minimum of 2-3 recommendation letters. You will need to provide one from your school/college and the other letter should come from your place of work or from a professional setting.
